CURRENT POSITION

Jeffrey Sockol is a skilled leader with strong management skills who has led many companies through turnaround, crisis, acquisition and growth situations.  He is a seasoned excutive with more than 30 years of experience working with middle market companies in the business service and manufacturing industries. A results-driven business leader, he responds quickly to clients' needs and develops strategies and solutions to help them succeed. His skills include marketing communications, advertising, systems integration, one-to-one marketing, business process outsourcing, statement rendering, and on-line inventory management and fulfillment on a national basis. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Jeffrey has served as interim President, COO, CRO and CFO and advised companies in the areas of corporate governance, acquisition strategy and best practices. He most recently served as CRO to a 50 year-old national furniture manufacturer and importer of casual living furniture. There he assisted stakeholders in the successful sale of substantially all of the company’s assets to a strategic buyer.

REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS

Jeffrey has been instrumental in a number of prominent, complex transactions with varied responsibilities, including:

  • Served as Financial Advisor to the largest full-service advertising agency and marketing communications firm in Philadelphia. Provided services including strategy, organizational structure, financial consulting, acquisition acumen and corporate governance policies. Helped direct the acquisition of three advertising agency tuck-ins in the last half of 2013 and early 2014. These acquisitions grew the firm by 50% in measurable revenue. In addition, provided crisis management consultancy services to the agency.
  • Served as Financial Advisor to a direct interactive advertising agency focused on marketing communications to major U.S. health insurance companies. Worked directly with the CEO to devise a leveraged buyout strategy. Built a strategy for growth and increased profitability. Implemented a business plan to diversify business into other business silos and to add digital and data analytics capabilities to the agency which greatly enhanced the value of the firm. In addition, provided turnaround management services to the agency.
